Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and financial documents
- Support month-end closing procedures under supervision
- Conduct basic account analysis and assist with audits
- Generate financial reports and assist with budget tracking
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proactive problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn
