We're seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to support our clients' financial operations. This role is perfect for recent graduates or career changers ready to launch their accounting careers in a supportive, growth-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license (client site visits required)
