Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for corporate clients
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and schedules
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow tracking
- Utilize QuickBooks and SAP for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
- Proactive learner adaptable to changing regulatory requirements
- Valid Washington State CPA exam eligibility or CPA preferred
