Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Support audit procedures by gathering documentation and preparing schedules
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Analyze financial trends and prepare variance reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
