Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for transaction processing and reporting
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare supporting schedules for reviews
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (graduating 2023-2024)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of debits/credits and accounting fundamentals
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
