Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly journal entries for general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable reconciliation processes
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Compile financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software systems
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
