Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Prepare tax documentation and assist with quarterly tax filings
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and report generation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debits/credits, balance sheets)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
