Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers on structuring complex credit facilities
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit practices
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-value commercial transactions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with underwriting SBA and commercial real estate loans
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and ratio calculations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
