Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings for Illinois clients
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Illinois payroll processing certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
