Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial and industrial loans
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure loan terms and conditions
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Present credit recommendations to senior management and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and risk assessment methodologies
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and credit software platforms
- Strong understanding of banking regulations (FIRREA, OCC guidelines)
