Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (Form 941, W-2, unemployment filings)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 99.8% accuracy
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system audits and policy updates
- Prepare year-end payroll reports and support external audits
- Train new hires on payroll processes and self-service portals
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM platform
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and state wage-hour regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven ability to manage confidential data with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
