Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within weekly payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 25+ employees with bi-weekly accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly/annual audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot table expertise
- Proven track record of meeting tight weekly deadlines
- Familiarity with Wisconsin tax regulations and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with error detection capabilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) preferred
