Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and financial reporting systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including document collection and analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Process payroll and reconcile bank statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
