Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets with precision
- Process payroll and tax filings on scheduled night shift cycles
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Generate financial reports for executive review during morning handoff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via virtual communication tools
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift availability
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with 99.9% transactional accuracy
- Experience with remote accounting software (Xero, FreshBooks)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (8 PM - 5 AM)
- Proven track record of meeting financial deadlines
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) a plus
