Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily/monthly bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Prepare financial statements and reports for executive review during daytime operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance night shift financial workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and inter-company transactions
- Proven track record of meeting month-end closing deadlines
