Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees with weekly pay disbursement
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement process improvements for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax compliance
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
