Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 100% accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with month-end closing processes and journal entries
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in contract/temporary roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Portland-based with local industry knowledge
- Valid Oregon CPA license or actively pursuing certification
