Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings with precision and timeliness
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks cloud-based accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-currency transactions
- Familiarity with Texas sales tax filing procedures
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a strong plus
