- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements daily
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with same-day payment verification
- Generate monthly financial reports and profit/loss statements
- Manage payroll processing for client employees using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare sales tax filings and quarterly financial summaries
- Coordinate with auditors during compliance reviews
- Implement digital bookkeeping systems for remote accessibility
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Ohio-based bookkeeping certification or equivalent credentials
- Demonstrable history of daily reconciliation accuracy
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Ohio tax regulations
