Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and reconcile accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 24-hour turnaround
- Prepare financial statements and compliance documentation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement accounting controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams during peak seasons
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience in contract/temporary roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Proven experience with daily payment processing systems
- Valid Florida CPA license or actively pursuing certification
