Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Financial Operations: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure all records are up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and general ledger maintenance.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Audit Support: Provide documentation and support for external and internal audits as required.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks or Xero.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
