Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and ensure compliance with California state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting, forecasting, and expense management procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Process payroll entries and ensure all payroll taxes are calculated and filed correctly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in the San Jose metropolitan area.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California state tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a significant plus.
