Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 3-day payment turnaround
- Conduct variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting for executive stakeholders
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA or CPA eligibility required
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of NY tax regulations and SEC reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
