We are seeking a Daily Pay Accountant to oversee our financial records, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations while optimizing our cash flow management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is up-to-date and error-free.
- Assist with local Miami tax filings and prepare for regulatory compliance audits.
- Streamline accounting processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and track financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Florida state tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
