Responsibilities
- Manage multi-client accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Prepare statutory accounts and VAT returns compliant with UK GAAP
- Conduct month-end reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Analyze financial data using Excel and Xero/Sage software
- Process payroll and ensure HMRC compliance
- Ad-hist financial modeling and budget support
- Maintain accurate audit trails for client assignments
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in practice or industry accounting role
- Expert knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Xero/Sage/QuickBooks proficiency required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Right to work in the UK with IR35 compliance status
