Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Execute high-volume accounts payable and receivable processing with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform internal audits and variance analysis to identify trends and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide actionable financial insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and high error tolerance.
