Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations and financial transactions.
- Perform monthly and annual bank reconciliations and credit card audits.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports, including P&L statements and Balance Sheets.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
