Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of financial statements and accounts payable/receivable
- Process payroll transactions with same-day compensation verification
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analyses
- Manage vendor invoices and expense reports using QuickBooks Online
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all transactions
- Collaborate with tax preparation team for quarterly filings
- Maintain organized digital financial records with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in contract/temporary roles
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of meeting daily deadlines with 99%+ accuracy
- Strong understanding of Colorado state tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Colorado driver's license for occasional client site visits
