Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessment reports for senior leadership
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance with lending policies and identify early warning signs
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure competitive credit solutions aligned with risk parameters
- Stay current on industry regulations, economic indicators, and credit risk management best practices
- Present complex financial analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in credit underwriting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio interpretation, and risk metrics
- Experience with credit scoring models and industry-specific risk factors
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts
- Professional certification (CFA, FRM, or CRCM) preferred
- Valid Arizona driver's license for occasional client meetings
