Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit reports to evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and loan applications for underwriting review.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to gather necessary financial documentation.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and economic conditions affecting credit risk.
- Collaborate with the loan origination team to structure deals that align with our risk appetite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel, SAP, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
