Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions for diverse clients
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies to senior leadership
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with financial modeling capabilities
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial statements and cash flow projections
- Excellent written/verbal communication with stakeholder management skills
- CFP, CFA, or CRC designation preferred
