Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for portfolio review
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Document credit decisions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic factors affecting credit risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Relevant certifications (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
