Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure loan terms and conditions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and market trends affecting credit decisions
- Present credit recommendations to loan committees with clear rationale
- Contribute to process improvements in credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Knowledge of GAAP and commercial lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA) preferred
