Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan approvals
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance documentation
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic indicators affecting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Credit risk assessment certification (CRCM, CCE) preferred
- Deep understanding of banking regulations (Regulations B, C, E)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
