As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our risk management strategy, ensuring sustainable growth while protecting our financial health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments and financial analysis for new and existing clients.
- Review loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to optimize portfolio performance.
- Monitor compliance with banking regulations and internal credit policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and underwriting teams.
- Communicate credit decisions and risk factors clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide credit guidance during the client onboarding process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Deep understanding of US banking regulations and credit risk principles.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
