Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal banking regulations (e.g., FDIC, OCC)
- Develop proficiency in credit scoring models and financial forecasting tools
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to learn complex financial systems quickly
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Valid Hawaii driver's license (for client site visits)
- Pass background check and drug screening
