Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments and financial analysis for loan applications and portfolio reviews.
- Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to determine borrower capacity.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and underwriting guidelines.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of default or deteriorating credit quality.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and credit committees.
- Ensure all credit decisions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., OCC, FDIC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
