Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of loan applications and customer financial statements to determine creditworthiness.
- Assess risk factors, including debt-to-income ratios and payment history, against established guidelines.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval committees and senior management.
- Maintain and update the internal credit database with current customer information and account status.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial deterioration or delinquency.
- Communicate credit decisions and policy clarifications to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial risk assessment, or banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
