Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports for loan applications.
- Evaluate the risk profile of new and existing borrowers to ensure responsible lending.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment documents.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to make informed decisions regarding credit limits and terms.
- Monitor market trends and economic indicators that may impact credit quality.
- Assist in the development and updating of credit policy and internal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a related financial role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
