Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriting teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FIRREA, BSA, etc.) and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, and covenant structures
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
