Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential defaults
- Collaborate with senior lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with lending regulations
- Develop financial models to forecast repayment capacity and cash flow scenarios
- Present findings clearly to credit committees through detailed written reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency with credit scoring models (FICO, Altman Z-score)
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulations B, C, Z)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
