Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee review
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (FDIC, OCC)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking/lending environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting principles and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- CFDA/CMA certification preferred
