Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Develop financial models for forecasting cash flows and debt service coverage
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking/lending environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Strong knowledge of FICO scoring and credit bureau reporting systems
- Certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent experience preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
