Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and financial optimization
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax cases
- Utilize tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte) for efficient processing
- Communicate tax outcomes clearly to diverse client portfolios
- Stay updated on tax law changes via continuous training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience
- Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Fresno-based residency preferred
