Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and business plans to assess the risk profile of potential borrowers.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to identify trends and mitigate default risk.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and present findings to the credit committee for final approval.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of financial distress and proactively manage delinquent accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Operations, to resolve complex credit issues.
- Ensure all credit decisions comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial lending.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, spreadsheet analysis, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and industry benchmarks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
