Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of credit deterioration
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FCRA, ECOA) and internal credit policies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and industry stakeholders
- Stay current on economic trends affecting credit risk in the Florida market
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring systems
- Strong knowledge of SEC filings, GAAP, and credit risk frameworks
- Credit Certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
