Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to assess borrower risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee reviews
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Utilize advanced financial modeling tools to forecast repayment scenarios
- Document all credit analysis activities in our proprietary CRM system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and credit risk frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills for presenting complex financial data
