Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess borrower risk and capacity.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and recommendations for the credit committee.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance, including credit limits and delinquency trends.
- Develop and maintain internal credit policies and underwriting guidelines.
- Collaborate with the lending team to structure deals that align with risk appetites.
- Conduct industry research and market analysis to support lending decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce).
- Deep understanding of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
