Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment on loan applications, including reviewing financial statements and cash flow projections.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit memos, reports, and presentations for the underwriting committee and senior management.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of delinquency and proactively recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all credit documentation is complete, accurate, and fully compliant with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales and underwriting teams to streamline the approval process and improve turnaround times.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic indicators, and changes in credit regulations to inform risk strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a similar financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and identify key risk factors.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to diverse audiences.
