Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our operational processes.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports and presentations for executive leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret complex regulatory changes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Train staff on compliance protocols, ethics, and reporting procedures to foster a culture of accountability.
- Investigate discrepancies or violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, or specific financial regulations).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFE, CPA, or CRCM) is a plus.
